Mohanad Alnaimy has a robust background in consulting, having served as a director at an SME consultancy for over 9 years. After a successful tenure in his previous consultancy, he co-founded BEC alongside Cherry Li, marking an exciting new chapter in his career. With this transition, Mohanad brings his extensive expertise in providing innovative solutions and leadership to BEC's ventures.

With more than 20 years of experience in building services and zero carbon consultancy, Mohanad is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, and a Low Carbon Consultant. He is a seasoned engineering professional with expertise across a range of sectors, including hotels, Build to Rent (BTR), student accommodations, residential, commercial, and major refurbishment schemes.

Mohanad has collaborated with some of the largest global multidisciplinary consultant practices, working on projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

Cherry Li worked alongside Mohanad Alnaimy at the same SME consultancy before partnering with him to co-found BEC. Their successful collaboration at their previous SME consultancy laid the foundation for their joint venture in BEC, where they combine their expertise to drive innovation in the building services sector.

Cherry is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the infrastructure and built environment industry. She is a strong engineering professional with expertise across various sectors, including hotels, airports, residential, healthcare, commercial, and government schemes.

In addition to her engineering career, Cherry is a CIBSE mentor, a CIBSE Chartership Assessor, and a dedicated volunteer for several engineering institutions in the UK, including STEM, IET, and Engineers Without Borders.
